This project we built masks and wrote essays about socialization. The main focus of this project was writing about socialization and how it affects us. We started off the project by Reading things about socialization. We read an article about a thing called the cycle of socialization which outlines how we are socialized from a very young age. About halfway through the project we started to make masks. These masks were supposed to represent either our true identity or some form of socialization. 

    This project was a little bit hard for me. I found that I could couldn't really connect to this subject as I can with other projects. I could've put more effort into my mask and essay. Brothers and doing a topic that I think I would've been more interested and I wrote something that I thought was a little bit more professional. I didn't put enough Time and refinement into my essay and it ended up being a little bit subpar. I think I could've been more advocating rather than just sitting back and not doing anything about my problems. I rewrote my essay about a week before the exhibition. if I had met with Steven sooner I probably would've had more time to rewrite my essay and it would've turned out better. I'm not the best at writing essays especially with a certain format. I don't think I really took much pride in what I just been a lot better and I could have are find it to the point where it was the best it could be.

    Personally I don't think this was my favorite project it was just a little bit more writing than I like. I think I got better at writing especially with the TEA paragraph format. To redo this project I would probably write something I'm more passionate about and interested in. I didn't gain any skills from this project because I didn't put enough effort in because I didn't enjoy it.
